5. Identification of Occurrence:

Notification by NSSS supplier that the First Cycle Plant Protection System setpoints necessitated by Rosemount Pressure transmitter sub-stitution were less than conservative.

7. Description of Occurrence:

After Rosemount pressure transmitter substitution was accomplished, it was discovered that the Plant Protection System setpoints were invalid due to differences in uncertainties between the Fischer 6 Porter and Rosemount transmitters.

There was no hazard to the health and safety of the public since the reactor has never been critical.
