SUBJECT:

TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY FOR TWO RULEMAKINGS Due to an FTE shortage within RDB and the need to maintain DRA rulemaking schedules, we need to reassign part of the rulemaking workload.

2 As we discussed and mutually agreed, responsibility for two rules will officially be transferred from my section to your section effective May 4, 1988. The rulemaking for 10 CFR Part 20.403 that has been initiated by the EDO, we agreed to assign to Mr. Joseph J. Mate. The rulemaking for 10 CFR Part 51, Table S-3, Table S-4, and Appendix B Narrative that has a completed draft Federal Register Notice (123 pages) and contractor support in place with ORNL, we agreed to assign to Mr. Stanley L. Turel with Mr. William R. Pearson acting as technical advisor on an as-needed basis.
