PROPOSED kVLE We are proposing to Amend 10 CFR 20.403 (a) and (b)-to clarify requirements involving sealed sources and other licensed materials.
The following paragraphs would be revised as indicated-(a) Immediate notification.
Each licensee shall report immediately and in no case later than one hour any event (including transportation event) that involves licensed material possessed by the licensee and that may have caused or threatens to cause:
(3) A loss of one week or more of the use or operation of any room, building,-
or equipment in which licensed material is used or stored; or (4) Estimated equipment, facility, or vehicle damage in excess of $200,000, including cost of decontam'ination and disposal.
(b) Twenty-four hour notification.
Each licensee shall report with 24 hours2.777778e-4 days <br />0.00667 hours <br />3.968254e-5 weeks <br />9.132e-6 months <br /> any event (including transportation event) that involves licensed material possessed by the licensee and that.may have caused or threatens to cause:
(3) A loss of one day of more of the use or operation of any room, building, or equipment in which licensed material is used or stored; or (4) Estimated equipment, facility, or vehicle damage in excess of 52,000, including cost of decontamination and disposal.
