Dear Mr. Boyd:
'Ihis letter and attachment will provide you with our schedule for submittal of B-SAR failure modes and effects analyses (FMEA) as requested in NRC preacceptance question 212.1 and round one question 212.171.
It is our preference to submit our proposed schedule separately from the B-SAR. Pending B-SAR Amendment 2 will therefore reference this letter and the enclosu're as our response to round one question 212.171.
Our schedule for submittal of FMEA diagrams will be as follows:

BEAs for 15 additional events August 18 A listing of the 31 B-SAR Chapter 15 events described in Amendment 1 to B-SAR, which will be analyzed for failure modes and effects, is provided on the attachment. As noted on the attachment, however, FMEA analysis for 4 of these events are in the applicant's scope of responsibility and will not be provided by B6W.
