The Division of Systems Integration (DSI) has revie'wed the latest draft
. of NUREG-0680, dated May 1980 entitled, " Evaluation of. Licensee's Cogliance.
with the NRC 01-der dated August 9,1979" regarding the safety evaluation.
for the restart of TMI-1. - A copy of NUREG-0680, marked-up with DSI review -
ers' corrections and conments, has been forwarded to the TMI-1 Restart
_ Program Itanager... This marked-up copy covers all areas in draft NUREG-0630 -
which have been reviewed.by DSI. with the exception of those in the pages listed in Table 1 (Encicsure 1), which require further evaluation. The areas within_ the NRC Order needing additional review are principally the Liquid and Gaseou's Radwaste Systems, Igroved Post-Accident Samling Capab-ility, Incraased Range of Radiation Monitors I@ roved In-Plant Iodine Instrumentation Under Accident Conditions, and the Emergency Feedwater Systems..By copy of this letter, the appitcable DSI branches will undertake to review these areas and provide any necessary ' corrections to the TMI.1 Restart Prograa: Manager by June 11, 1980. The marted-up corrections were usually minor, mainly either editorial. in nature in order to clarify understanding of a particular passage, or inclusion of new material, pro-vided. in order to bring material up-to-date. --
