CONGRESSIONAL LETTERS OF NOVEMBER 25 AND 30 FROM 1
CONGRESSMEN DINGELL, OTTINGER, AND HART In response to your request of November 30 regarding a classification review of the Now ber 25 letter, the staff has reviewed the letter and detemined that its overall classification should be " SECRET-NSI"; review on 8/4/2001; extended by RDS-3, Foreign Relations Matter. This will be a derivative classification based upon the original classification of the Morgan Report.
For your convenience, I have attached a copy of the letter indicating the appropriate paragraph markings.
As a separate matter, the staff has also reviewed the letter of November 30 from the same Congressmen and determined that it is undlassified.
With respect to your request for a draft response to the November 25 letter, the response is presently being drafted and will be forwarded separately.
