Now that the Court of Appeals has affirmed his subpoena enforcement order, I am hopeful that Judge Reeton will be more inclined to act with dispatch on motions for judgment against Comley on unpaid contempt fines.

In this connection, according to my calculations, at present those fines exceed $120,000 in total amount.

It is my impression, however, that the adjudicated or pending motions for 1

judgment cover only approximately half of that sum.

As you are aware, Comley is claiming that he does not I

have the assets to pay the accumulated fines.

I find this l

assertion difficult to accept given the fact that it has l

been often reported in the press that he is the owner (as well as the operator) of a nursing home in Rowle I
