Dear Mr. Burns:
As required by Section F.4 of the above contract, this i is my final progress report. It covers the period between December 1 and December 31, 1989 -- the expiration date of the contract as extended. During that period, I devoted a total of three hours to the preparation of a memorandum to Chairman carr in response to Congressman Kostmayer's December 12, 1989, letter. That memorandum was furnished to the Chairman on December 14, r I Given Mr. Comley's continued refusal to comply with the subpoena, no other action on my part was possible. My daily log-is attached. As required, it reflects the number of hours devoted each day to work specifically in the performance of the contract and, if any, work as a member of the Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Panel. At the stipulated contract rate of $62.50, the compensation for the three hours devoted to the performance of services under the contract would total $187.50. I am, however, submitting a voucher in the lesser amount of $168.20, which was the balance on the contract allocation as of the end of November.
