Dear Mr. Eisenhut :
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.59, the Sacramento Muni,cipal Utility District proposed to amend its operating license, DPR-54, for Rancho Seco Nuclear Cencrating Station No. 1, by submitting Proposed Amendment No. 51, Revision 1 on l'ebruary 2,1981. Today we are submitting forty (40) copies of Proposed Amendaent No. 51, Revision 1 which shows the changes we are proposing.
Under this cover, we will be providing payment for this submittal, as required per 10 CFR 170.
This amendment has been determined to be Class III since the issues have bcen c1carly identified by NRC position. A payment of $4,000 is enclosed.
The specific changes involved in this proposal include all items submitted to you in Proposed Amendment 51 on June 20, 1978 and the revisions agreed to by our September 22, 1980 letter to Mr. Robert Reid of your office. This amendment vill become effective 30" days following installation of the specified equipment.
