Docket No. 50-312 Proposed Amendment No. 51 Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station, Unit Number One Gentlemen:
The letter from you dated June 3,1977, requested that we review our onsite emergency power systems to assess the susceptibility of sustained degraded voltage conditions at the offsite power sources and the interactions between the offsite and onsite emergency power systems. The District has completed the review and has proposed plant modifications in compliance with the letter to your staff.
Additionally, you required that the Technical Specificatinns be amended to incorporate the modifications consistent with the Staff Positions contained in an enclosure.
This reply contains the Technical Specifications per your request.
Since your staff review of the modifications is being conducted independent of this amendment, a change of the design of the protective system may reflect upon the requirements centained in this amendment.
If such changes are required, this submittal must be revised.
The Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 170.22, Footnote 2, exempts this application from the fee schedule.
