Dear Sir:

On December 4,1979, we forwarded to you a draf t copy of the revised Trojan Radiological Emergency Plan. As the result of further review of t'.iis document, a number of corrections and additions have been made.

These corrections are hereby forwarded to you as replacement pages for insertion in the Plan.

In addition, in the December 4 letter we stated that a letter from the State of Washington discussing plans for future revisions and updating of their emergency plan would be forwarded by separate correspondence. A copy of this letter is included in this submittal for insertion at the front of Chapter 3 of the Plan.

In addition to the above corrections, the following items contained in the PGE Radiological Emergency Response Plan for the Trojan Nuclear Plant need further clarification:

1.

Plant ceteorological instrumentation is not currently on a vital power bus, as stated on Page 7.3-1.

A design change to this effect has been approved and we anticipate that it will be implemented by the end of the first quarter, 1980.

2.

The dedicated telephone communications link between the Trojan ECC and the State and local EOCs described in Section 7.2 is not currently in place; the equipment is being ordered and we anticipate that it will be installed by the end of the first quarter, 1980.
