The Nuclear Regulatory Ccmission (the Comission) has found that:

A.

The application for amendment by Sacramento Municipai Utility District (the licensee) dated Cece.mber 1,1978, complies with the standards and requirements of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended (the Act) and the Comission's rules and regulations set forth in 10 CFR Chapter I; B.

The facility will operate in conformity with tne application, the provisions of the Act, and the rules and regulations of the Comission; C.

There is reasonable assurance (1) that the activities authorized by this amendment can be conducted without endangering the health and safety of the public, and (ii) that such activities will be conducted in comoliance with the Comission's regulations; D.

The issuance of this amendment will not be inimical to the comen defense and security or to the health and safety of the public; and E.

The issuance of this amndment is in accordance with 10 CFR Part 51 of the Comission's regulations and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.

Accordingly, Facility 0:erating License No. CPR-S" is here y amended by amending :aragra;h 2.C. '4) to reac as follows:

(4) The licensee m.3y proceed with and is recuired to complete the m.0difications identified in Paragraons 3.1.1 through 3.1.40 of the NRC's Fire Protection Safety Evaluation (SE) on the facility dated February 28, 1978 and supplements thereto.

These modifications shall be completed as specified in Table 3.1 of the SE or supplements thereto.

In addition, the licensee shall submit the additional information identi#ied in Table 3.2 of this SE in accordance with the schedule contained Terein.

In the event these dates for submittal cannot be met, the licensee snall submit a report, explaining the circumstances, togetner with a revised schedule.

This license amendment is effective as of the date of its issuance.
