I STRONGLY urge you to hold a Publ ic Hearing on the Consideration of Approval of Transfer of Licence and Conforming Amendment for NRC-2018-0237.

I have lived in Lacey Township for ove r 25 years and feel it is essential th at there be an open and transparent review of this application. The residents of Lacey Twp. and the su rrounding communities are the primary subjects whom may be negatively affected by the Licence Transfer and the expedited decommissioning process. The Spent Nuclear fuel was NEVER MEANT to REMAIN ON SITE. Lacey has been host to this dangerous fuel for far to long and should not be c onsidered as a final depository for the materials.

Hurricane Sandy brought with it a storm surge that devast ated the area and came clos e to disabling the pumps that cooled the Nuclear materials in the facility. This Historic event should serve as a warning to all that Oyster Creek is in a vulnerable area and should be treated and or evaluated accordingly

The facility has been here in Lacey since 1969 so w hy on earth shouldn't we take the time to hold a public hearing so that all concerned parties have an opportuni ty to voice their concerns or ask their questions??

Thank you Gary DeFranco
