The damaged operating mechanism was repaired and the mechanical door travel stop adjusted to prevent recurrence. During the repair period the inner airlock door was maintained closed and sealed, and the containment escape lock was operable. This is the second occurrence involving an inoperable personnel airlock at St. Lucie Unit 1. The first occurrence was reported as Reportable Occurrence 335-76-l4. (335-76-46)
