.verified operable, in accordance with Technical Specification 3.8.1.1. The problem was corrected and the "A" diesel generator was started and verified operable. This was the occurrence of this type. (335-76-21). 'irst Cause Descri tion (continued) maintenance manual for the diesel generator does not specify a frequency for cleaning components except to say that cleaning should be scheduled as determined by operating conditions. Cleaning of .the affected components is being incorporated in the preventive maintenance program.
