NRC Presentation Overheads for Ginna Advanced Digital Feedwater Control System

Dear Hr. Johnson:

As a result of a technical meeting between the NRC, Westinghouse, and Rochester Gas 8 Electric on July 24, 1990 related to the above subject, please find the enclosed Westinghouse proprietary presentation material.

1. Three (3) copies of presentation slides entitled "Robert E. Ginna Advanced Feedwater Control System (ADFCS) Summary Descrip'tion" (proprietary)

The enclosed information contains information which is proprietary to Westinghouse. Accordingly, we request that this information be withheld from public disclosure.

In order not to delay this submittal of information to the Commission in connection with the review of Rochester Gas S. Electric's request for a Technical Specification change related to the implementation of the ADFCS, we will comply with the requirements of 10 CFR 2.790 to provide proprietary and non-proprietary versions together with an affidavit as soon as the proprietary information contained in the submittal has been specifically identified and the proprietary and non-proprietary versions have been prepared. We will submit the total required numbers of copies of the proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the information and the required affidavit at that time.

In the meantime, we have provided sufficient copies for you to initiate your review. K. Holzle, Esq., of the NRC Office of the General Counsel, has advised Westinghouse that he concurs with this procedure.
