Dear Mr. Rosztoczy:
On July 3,1980 you inquired of Mr. David H. Rawlins, Manager of Structural and Electrical Systems Evaluation at Westinghouse, as to the process whereby a draft evaluation performed by Franklin Institute and containing possible Westinghouse proprietary infonnation could be released to Rochester Gas and Electric. This letter responds to your request. M: . Rawlins has also verbally discussed this with Mr. Jim Lombarde of your Staff and with Mr. George Wrobel at RGE. Since Westinghouse has a proprietary aoseement with RG&E, we have no problem with your release of the infonnation to them. We do request that your cover letter transmitting the document state that it is preliminary and may contain Westinghouse proprietary infonnation, and is, therefore, not for public release. Westinghouse requests that a copy of the transmittal letter be forwarded to me also. Further, a copy of the final report should be sent to me for review of proprietary data before it is made available to the public.
