TRIP REPORT - AUDIT OF CALCULATIONAL PROGRAMS TO EVALUATE POTENTIAL SOIL-STRUCTURE INTERACTION EFFECTS - JUNE 9 THROUGH ll, 1987 (TAC NO. 55305)
On June 9 through 11, 1987, the NRC staff and its consultants conducted an audit of calculational programs to evaluate potential soil-structure inter-action effects at Diablo Canyon as part of the Long-Term Seismic Program.
Participants were R. Pichumani (NRC) and Drs.
C. J. Costantino and A. J. Philippacopoulos of Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL).
The audit took place at the offices of Bechtel Corporation in San Francisco.
A summary of the items audited is contained in the enclosed letter from BNL dated July 10, 1987.
