SCHEDULE REVISION FOR THE REVIEW OF THE DAVIS-BESSE NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT 1, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION (TAC NO. ME4613)
Dear Mr. Lieb:
By letter dated August 27, 2010, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company submitted an application pursuant to Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 51 (10 CFR Part 51) and (10 CFR Part 54), to renew operating license NPF-003 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1 (Davis-Besse), for review by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff. This letter is to inform you of a change in the environmental review schedule for the Davis-Besse license renewal review.
The scheduled date for the issuance of the final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) is revised from March 2015 to April 2015. The environmental review schedule is being revised to permit the NRC staff to complete the review and publication process for issuance of the final draft SEIS.
