Provide Examinee the supplied copy of DOP 3900-02.

1.

Check X-area temperatures at back panel 903-21 on TR3-1631-01; Steam Leak Detection points 13-16.

Verifies temperature indications on the 903-21.

CUE:

The temperature indicated on TR3-1631-01; Stm Leak Detection points 13-16 are elevated slightly above normal.

2.

Check SW dP across X-Area Coolers by taking the difference between the following pressure indicators (at SW penetration through X-Area wall).

Checks the SW dP across the X-area.

CUE:

dP is slightly elevated above normal.

3.

Refer to Figure 1, SW to U3 X-Area Coolers.

Refers to Figure 1.

4.

Open the following valves (Located North of MCC 36-1):

  • 3-3999-325, U3 X AREA CLRS REVERSE FLOW VLV.
  • 3-3999-326, U3 X AREA CLRS REVERSE FLOW VLV.

Rotates manual valve hand wheel(s) Counter Clock Wise (CCW) until movement stops.

Job Performance Measure (JPM)

S-N-k Page 6 of 8 PERFORMANCE CHECKLIST STANDARDS SAT UNSAT Comment CUE:

Valve hand wheel(s) stops moving. The valve(s) is open.

5.

Close the following valves (North of MCC 36-1):

  • 3-3999-327, U3 X AREA CLRS NORM FLOW VLV.
  • 3-3999-328, U3 X AREA CLRS NORM FLOW VLV.

Rotates manual valve hand wheel(s) Clock Wise (CW) until movement stops.

CUE:

Valve hand wheel(s) stops moving. The valve(s) is open.

6.

Check flow reversal by checking SW dP across X-Area Coolers has reversed and X-area temperatures have dropped.

Verifies that SW dP across the X-area coolers has reversed and that X-area temperatures are dropping as indicated on the 903-21 panel.

CUE:

dP - The pressures indicate reversed flow.

Temp - Temperature is trending down. Another NSO will monitor the downward trend.

7.

Informs Unit Supervisor task is complete.

Examinee notifies the Unit Supervisor CUE:

Acknowledge report of task completion.
