-Ca liforna 91770 As a resuIt of the inspection conducted July 28 through Atggs 1, August 11 through August 15, and September 16 and 17, 1986 and i accordance with the NRC Enf rcement Policy 10 CFR 2 ppendx C the following violationwas identified:

Technical Specification6'.8.1 specifies that written procedures shall be established, implemented and naintained Procidure 0 123-VII-9.9, Revision3, Radiatin Exposure PrmitProgran, specifies in Section 6.3.3 that '11 personnel coveed by the REP-must foll6w the requirements specifiedin the REP.','- Radiation Exposure Permit 83001 required use of a respirator while workng-on valv S -312 08MR15.

Contrary to theabove requirement, an individual performed work on valve S:31208MR135 under REP 83001 on Jahuary 3 1985 arid did not wear a' respirator a required by the, Radiatior Exposure Permit.
