MILLSTONE POWER STATION UNIT 2 REQUEST FOR REGULATORY CONFERENCE NRC SPECIAL INSPECTION REPORT 05000336/2011008; PRELIMINARY WHITE FINDING By letter dated May 27, 2011 (Accession No. ML111470484), the NRC issued Special Inspection Report 05000336/2011008 for Millstone Power Station Unit 2 (MPS2). In the inspection report, the NRC identified a preliminary white finding involving two apparent violations of NRC requirements involving Technical Specification 6.8 "Procedures" that are being considered for escalated enforcement action. In the referenced letter, the NRC also provided Dominion with the opportunity to request a Regulatory Conference or submit our position in writing.

The purpose of this letter is to confirm receipt of the subject inspection report, to request a Regulatory Conference in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania and to document that the Licensing Supervisor for MPS2 provided verbal notification of our request for a Regulatory Conference on June 3, 2011. The date of the conference will be coordinated with NRC Region I.
