Theresa - we need to reschedule the Fire Protection call to Monday or Tuesday (anytime between 1p - 3p works for us); however, if you and George are ok, I'd like to try and keep today's 3:30p slot to discuss the Piping NDE clarification question as described below:

The licensees response to NRC RAI B1b states that there are two Category E welds, and that a mechanical stress improvement process has been performed on weld ID 2PRV-KC-32 (safe-end-to-safe end extension) and a full structural weld overlay will be performed if the flaw depth reaches 41%

through-wall. However, in RAI response B1c, the licensee stated that all Category E weldments are weld overlays. Please clarify whether weld ID 2PRV-KC-32 has a structural weld overlay and, if not, whether the BWRVIP-75A normal water chemistry inspection requirements of examination of 100% of the population every a 6 year period for MSIP welds, will be followed.
