Pilgrim Drywell Actions Resulting from RAI B.1.16.1 Amendment 10 of 12/12/2006 discussed replacement of the failed flow switch (FS-4803) on 11/17/2006. Amendment 10 also discussed replacement being initiated for flow switches FS-4802 (alarming functions for vessel to drywell bellows rupture) and FS-4806 (alarming functions for fuel pool gate leakage) and establishment of a preventive maintenance task to replacement of these switches every 15 years.

Amendment 10 included commitment 41 for augmented inspection of the drywell shell adjacent to the sand cushion following indications of water leakage into the annulus air gap.

Amendment 13 of 1/29/2007 included commitment 44 to perform another set of the UT measurements just above and adjacent to the sand cushion region prior to the period of extended operation and once within the first 10 years of the period of extended operation.

41 Enhance the Containment Inservice A.2.1.17 and June 8, Letter Inspection (CII) Program to require B.1.16.1 2012 2.06.09 augmented inspection in accordance 4 with ASME Section XI IWE-1240, of the drywell shell adjacent to the sand cushion following indications of water leakage into the annulus air gap.
