OCGS fishkill information Harriet, As we discussed this morning along with Kathy Barnes of our Regulatory Assurance department, attached is a graphical summary of the number of fishkill events that have occurred at OC since it began operation.

The figure summarizes the number of fishkill events by decade and illustrates a trend of continuous improvement (i.e., reduced numbers of fishkills) since the early days of operation of the plant. It reflects not only improved environmental stewardship, but also improved and innovative plant preventative and online maintenance practices, procedures and policies that have resulted in the need for fewer plant shutdowns in recent years.

As you requested, I am also faxing you a copy of the OC fishkill procedure. If there are any questions on either of these items, please feel free to call or email me.
