Re: 0350 Wally, I only committed to give them a risk assessment as soon as I had sufficient info from RES or FENOC to complete it. Current projection for recieving that is next week. After that, thre will be about 2 months of discussion and procedure before the SDP is "final." Of course, the whole issue is bigger than the Davis-Besse SDP. Thre will be a bulletin this summer and a Generic Letter early next year, and there will need to be an up-to-date risk picture every time we take some regulatory step.

Steve, I am working on an extension for Gery Wilkowski's contract. Since we have to get it in place pretty quickly, I thought that I could use some of your dates for the 0350 risk analysis as part of the justification.

I remember you saying a several weeks ago that Region IlIl was pressing you for a schedule. Could you please tell me what you committed to. Thanks, Wally
