Max Hime assumes the duties of the Control Room Supervisor [1500].
"Pw 1700 C-303 Fire Door C-303 has been removed from service for scheduled maintenance on the doors. The actions of FPP, Table 6.7a are applicable [1630]. Detectors on both sides of the door have been verified operable and Security notified to provide an hourly roving fire watch of this area on the Control Complex 124' elevation.
"Pw 1902 Turtle Nuclear Security reported the rescue of a live turtle from the CR-3 intake area
[1715]. The turtle has been transported to the Mariculture Center and placed in a holding tank until Mariculture Center staff can identify the species. D. Bruzek has subsequently notified the Control Room that the turtle is a green sea turtle requiring follow-up medical assisstance [1740]. Notification to National Marine Fisheries is required and will be made 09/20/02 in the morning. A 4 Hour Non Emergency report was made to the NRC per 10 CFR 50.72 for offsite notification (NRC Event# 38602 Updated) [1835]. This condition is documented on NCR 72039. Notifications have been made to: NRC ENS (Laura), NRC Resident (Stewart), PGM (Franke), MSO (Jones), and Licensing (Herrin).
