Calibration has been authorized per the maintenance schedule. The actions of ITS 3.3.17 Condition A became applicable [0931].

A scheduled drill was held for the crew [0945].

Received notification from Site Security that a healthy turtle has been rescued from the intake and transported to the Mariculture Center. The turtle is approximately 20 inches in diameter and weighs around 15 pounds. The Mariculture StaffL. Olsen) has identified the species as a Green Sea Turtle. A 4 Hour Non-Emergency report has been made to the NRC per 10 CFR 50.72 for the offsite notification (NMFS) related to capture of the latest turtle (#66) this biennial period (NRC Event 38602 Updated) [1122]. This condition has been documented on NCR 56669. Notifications have been made to: NRC ENS (G. Waig), NRC Resident (S. Stewart), PGM (D. Roderick), MSO_ D. Jones)', and the Regulatory representative$. Bright).

Evacuation and Fire Alarm Demonstration has been completed satisfactorily.

Radiation Monitoring Instrumentation Functional Test RMG's has been completed satisfactorily for RM-G26 and RM-G27 only [1144]. Further maintenance and calibration is required. This has restored functionality (Maintenance Rule available) to the monitors.
