J1K 0819 Turtle Received notification from Site Security that a healthy turtle has been rescued from the intake and transported to the Mariculture Center [0720]. The turtle is approximately 36 inches in diameter and weighs around 80 pounds. The Natural Resources Unit Staff will identify the species and evaluate notification requirements to the National Marine Fisheries Service later this morning. NCR 53492 has been generated.

JrK 0902 01-13 The Fire Service Tanks were placed on recirculation utilizing FSP-1 per CP-140 and subsequently restored. Since this activity crossties FST-1A and FST-1B, the actions of the FPP, Table 6.1a, were applicable [0440-0845].

"'Jc 1010 NCR 53492 Received notification from Mariculture Center Staff (E. Olsen) that the turtle Reportable rescued from the intake area was a Loggerhead Sea Turtle [0834]. A 4 Hour Turtle Non-Emergency report has been made to the NRC per 10 CFR 50.72 for the offsite notification (NMFS) related to capture of the latest turtle (#63) this biennial period (NRC Event# 38602 Updated) [1002]. Notifications have been made to: NRC ENS (C. Gould), NRC Resident (S. Stewart), PGM (D.

Roderick), MO (M. Annacone), MSO (L. Clewett), and the Regulatory representative (P. Infanger). I (No addiionallog entries this shift)
