Dear Mr. Boyd:

In Reference 1 you requested that Combustion Engineering identify all applica-tions and requests for review which we plan to submit between now and December 31, 1981. We were also requested to provide information on the submittal date and type of review action requested for each item identified.

We have submitted the Combustion Engineering Standard Safety Analysis Report-Final Safety Analysis Report (CESSAR-FSAR) on October 20, 1978 via Reference 2.

The review actions requested of the NRC Staff were also identified in that transmittal. We anticipate making no further submittals in any of the categories defined in Reference 1 during the time frame of interest. Combustion Engineering's customers may plan submittals prior to December 31, 1981 that will require the allocation of significant Staff resources, but we cannot address the plans of our customers in this regard. ~

We wish to keep the NRC informed of our intentions and vill notify the Staff as early as practical of changes-that could affect regulatory planning. Please -

feel free to call on me if I can be of further assistance -in this matter.
