On June 15, 2012, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued Extended Power Uprate (EPU) Amendments 249 and 245 for Renewed Facility Operating Licenses DPR-31 and DPR-41 for Turkey Point Units 3 and 4, respectively [Reference 1]. The amendments included the revised EPU license conditions and technical specifications as well as a Safety Evaluation Report (SER). Florida Power and Light (FPL) Company reviewed the EPU Proprietary SER and comments are provided in the Attachment to this letter.

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.91 (b)(1), a copy of this letter is being forwarded to the State Designee of Florida.
