Site Tours An extensive site tour was performed in order to determine the general status of work performed in areas of: concrete placement; reactor coolant system welding and electrical cable tray installation.

Observation of Concrete Placement Concrete placement UC5 10B04 was being made on October 16, 1979.
The last 50% of the placement was observed. It was observed that:
There was adequate crew for the placement.

The use of vibrating equipment was performed correctly.
Placement technique including the pumping system and the drop c.
chutes were satisfactory.
On October 17, 1979, the post placement curing was observed. Wet burlap was placed on all exposed surfaces.
