reviewed to see if it: was within the stated time period; included the information required; included ac2quate corrective action committments; and, was accurate. The following comments are a result of this review:

1.

The Rlll inspector noted that the licensee's response to IE Bulletin 78-05 (Malfunctioning of Circuit Breaker Aux 11ary Contact Mechanism - General Electric Model CR105X) was not adequately supported with regard to the use of the auxiliary intarlocks in control equipment manuf actured by other control equipment manufacturers other than General Electric. A committment was made to have Bechtel research this matter to see if it was considered in the original search of equipment. This item is unresolved. (483/79-01-01)

2.

With regard to IE Circular No. 78-08 (Environmental Qualification of Safety-Related Electrical Equipment at Nuclear Power Plants), this item remains open pending review of supporting documentation.
