This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the area of Physical Security Program for Power Reactors.
Specific areas evaluated were: Management Support; Protected and Vital Area Barriers; Isolation Zones; Detection Systems; Assessment Systems; Protected Area Access Control for Packages and Personnel; Alarm Stations and Communications; Testing, Maintenance and Compensatory Measures; and Security Training and Qualification.
Results:
In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified.
The licensee's security program continues to be more than adequately effective in providing an acceptable level of protection for the station's resources.
The performance of the security force is reflective of the professionalism of each individual and the proficiency of the security training program.
