SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF NRC SERVICE WATER SYSTEM OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE INSPECTION - 50-382/93-04 This is in reference to our previously announced plans to conduct a Service-Water System Operational Performance Inspection (SWSOPI) at your Waterford, Unit 3, facility. The schedule and details of the inspection were provided in our January 26, 1993, letter to you on this subject.
As a result of additional NRC staff guidance relative to the implementation of

this _ inspection, the planned SWSOPI will not be performed at Waterford, Unit 3.
Therefore, by this correspondence NRC Inspection 50-382/93-04 is-cancelled.
