Areas Inspected:

Routine, announced operational inspection of the licensee's physical security program.

The areas inspected within the physical security

' program included: management support, security program plan, and audits; protected and vital area physical barriers, detection and assessment aids; protected and vital area access control of personnel, packages and vehicles; alarm stations and communications; power supply; testing, maintenance and compensatory measures; security training and qualification (T&Q); and protection of Safeguards Information.

Results: Within the areas inspected, four apparent violations were identified (failure to control and store Safeguards Information and failure to maintain isolation zone (see paragraphs 3 and 4).

Four open items were also identified.

l The inspector reviewed selective representative records, interviewed personnel I

and observed a broad cross-section of the licensee's security program.
