Inspection Summary, Inspection on August 1-31. 1981 (Report No. 50-341/81-14)
Areas Inspected: Routine resident inspector construction inspection consisting of Licensee action on previous inspection findings, IE Bulletin and Circular Follow-up,' Licensee Event Follow-up, ACRS Meeting and Plant Tours. Advisory Committee of Reactor Safety (ACRS) Full Committee Hearing Tha inspector attended the ACRS Committee meeting on August 6,1981 con-cerning DECO's application for a permit to operate Fermi II.
The Committee recommended to the Commission, after querying DECO & the NRC Staff, that Fe mi II be given an operating license if due. con-sideration is given to recommendations made by the committee and including resolution of the outstanding issues contained in the NRC's Staff's Safety Evaluation Repcrt.
6.
Plant Tours The inspectors conducted tours of the RHR Complex, the Reactor, Auxiliary and Turbine Buildings. The inspectors observed work control and general housekeeping practices. The inspectors reviewed control room logs and observed shift turnover.
