This routine, unannounced inspection was conducted in the areas of Management Support; Security Program Plans and Audit; Protected and Vital Area Barriers; Detection and Assessment Aids; Protected and Vital Area Access Control of Personnel Packages and Vehicles; Alarm Stations and Communications; Power Supply; Testing and Maintenance; Compensatory Measures; and Security Training and qualification.

.In addition, the licensee s actions in response to findings identified during the Regulatory Effectiveness Review conducted by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation in December 1988, were reviewed and discussed with licensee security management.

Results:

In the areas inspected, violations or deviations were not identified.

Corrective action for three previously cited violations was reviewed, determined to be adequate, and the items were closed.
