Applicability of Florida Power and Light Company Topical equality Assurance Report to St. Iucie Unit 1 Inspection Report Q8-02 addressed the actions being taken at that time by the Florida Power and Light Company to make the company Topical Quality Assurance Report (FPLTQARl-76A) applicable to St.
Lucie Unit l.
At that.
time, quality assurance requirements for St.
Lucie were included in chapter 17.2 of the Final Safety Analysis Report.
Subsequently, Florida Power and Iight letter L-80-46 of February 6, 1980 committed St.
Lucie Unit 1 to FPLTQAR1-76A. Inspector Followup Item 78-02-02 is closed.,
No items of noncompliance or deviations were identified in this area.

Review of Plant Operations The inspector kept informed on a daily basis of the overall plant status and significant safety matters related to plant operations.
Discussions about planned safety related activities were held frequently with various members of the plant management and operations staff.
Selected portions of current plant operating logs and data sheets were reviewed during this report period.

Observations were made of work in progress, of plant housekeeping, and vital area controls.
