Inspection on August 6-8,1979 (Report No. 50-333/79-11)
Areas Insoected: Routine, announced inspection by a regional based inspector at the request of NRR to confim that deficient pipe supports identified under the Show Cause Order of March 13, 1979, and Bulletin 79-02 are being properly modified or repaired in accordance with the applicable engineering disposition.
The inspection involved 27 inspector-hours on site by one NRC inspector.
Results: No items of noncompliance were identified in the one area inspected.

2.
Inspection of Inaccessible Pipe Suppc.'ts The licensee is currently engaged in an extensive repair and modification of safety related pipe supports.
The pipe supports were identified as deficient as a result of review of activities required by the Show Cause Order, dated March 13, 1979,Bulletin 79-02, and the pipe support verifica-tion initiated by the licensee. The licensee has requested approval to restart the facility contingent upon completion of the committments in the August 2, 1979 letter to the NRC.
The purpose of this inspection was to confirm, on a sampling basis, that inaccessible supports identified as deficient have been properly repaired or modified in accordance with the engineering disposition.
The inspection consisted of identifying those deficient supports classified as inaccessible and performing selected dimensional and visual examinations.

The inspector visually examined the pipe supports H46-282 and H46-284 identified previously as unresolved items (333/79-09-12).
He reviewed the engineering dispositior, of the Work Reques Nos. 2397 and 2398 for complete-ness and adequacy. These items are considered resolved.
The issue remains open pending disposition of the undersize <j bolts which are part of this item.
