, Alarm Stations, Detection Aids, Assessment Aids, Communications, Testing and Maintenance, Compensatory Measures, Power Supply, Response, Locks, Keys and Combinations and Records and Peports.
The inspection involved 132 inspector hours onsite by three NRC Regional inspectors. The inspection was begun during an offshift period (weekend); 44 inspection hours were performed during offshif; periods.
Resul ts:
The licensee was found to be in compliance with NRC requirements in 15 of the 20 areas examined.
Items of noncompliance were found in the following areas:
(1). Security Organization - Guards not performing all Vital Area duties committed to in Security Plan. (Infraction )
(2). Access Control (Search) - Metal Detectors not operating properly. (Infraction)
(3). Access Control (Vital Areas) - Vital Area door found unsecured. (Infraction) (4). Alarm Stations - Secondary Alarm Station not equipped g
with audible console annunicator. (Deficiency)
(5). Records and Reports - Administrative record of guard responses not det iled. (Deficiency)
