SUBJECT: EQUIPMENT OVALIFICATION INSPECTION - SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 This letter confirms the dates of December 8-12, 1986 for the NRC equipment qualification (EQ) inspection of the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and These dates were established during a telephone conversation on November 18, 1986, between Ms. M. Cooper of your staff and Mr. G. Hubbard of this offic This inspection will be to follow up on the maintenance baseline Open Item (50-327/86-01-05;50-328/86-01-05) identified in our EQ inspection report, dated August 15, 1986. In addition to the concerns of the Open Item, the inspection will focus on the "as built" and "as maintained" configuration of qualified equipment and the qualification maintenance / normal maintenance programs you have established for qualified equipment. The inspection will be conducted at the plant site in Soddy Daisy, Tennesse An entrance meeting is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on December 8,1986, and an exit meeting is tentatively scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on December 12, 1986, at the plant site.
