NRC INSPECTION REPORT 50-275/97-05; 50-323/97-05

An NRC inspection was conducted April 21-24, 1997, at your Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, reactor facilities. The enclosed report presents the scope and results of that inspection.
Areas examined during the inspection are identified in the report and included your inservice inspection program.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observation of activities in progress.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice,"
a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR).
