WEPCo requested Southwest Research Institute (SWRI) to develop and perform the IS1 program in accordance with ASME Section XI, 1974 Edition, Summer 1975 Addenda. The program consisted of the ultrasonic (UT) and visual examination (VT) of the following welds also a VT on-the heat exchanger integrally welded supports.
