All seismic qualifi-cation records for these batteries were not reviewed.
This item is identified as Unresolved item 259/79-20-01 and 260/79-20-01; Seismic qualification records for Units 1 and 2 Diesel Generator batteries,.
During the records review for the Unit 3, 125 volt D. C. Diesel Generator batteries 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D, the seismic qualification of the 6-foot battery rack section was questioned.
The records available at the site indicated the 6-foot battery rack section was not seismically qualified.
Discussion with Engineering Design (EN DES) personnel revealed that an engineering evaluation/analysis has been performed and indicates the 6-foot battery rack section is seismically qualified.
Since no seismic documentation was available at the site, the licensee has agreeded to further evaluate this item and provide additional information.
