REPORT NOS. 50-250 85-1 AND 50-251/85-11 During the course of normal business, NRC Region II representatives reviewed a copy of Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) meeting notes from the NRC exit meeting conducted on April 19, 1985, concluding inspections 50-250, 251/85-11.
These notes prepared by R.
D. Hart, Licensing Engineer, stated:
"The inspector reviewed some of the concerns about the Unit 3 spent fuel pool rerack raised by the resident inspector.
To him it appears that FPL is adequately addressing these concerns and he was overall satisfied with the current actions being pursued by FPL.
He plans on discussing his findings with Region II personnel."
After consultation with the inspector, Region II is obligated to inform you that t
the above statement is incorrect.
The inspector indicated that he did not have findings in this area, that any comments were general in nature and that his-cursory review certainly would not support the above statements.
Should you have any questions regarding this, we will be pleased to discuss them.
