Inspection Report No. 50-244/91-01 During the period of January 7 10, 1991, the NRC conducted a special announ-ced follow-up inspection of items identified during the team inspection of the Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) conducted September 25 through October 4, 1989 (Inspection Report No. 50-244/89-80).
The inspector reviewed the corrective actions taken by your staff to address the seven remaining iden-tified items.
Five of the seven items were closed during this inspection.
Of the two (2) remaining open items, corporate engineering action is required to close one (1) of these items and site action is necessary to close the last item.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC inspection report which is enclosed with this letter.
At the conclusion of the inspec-tion, findings were discussed with members of your staff identified in the enclosed report.
The inspection concluded that the open items from the previous inspection have been addressed and the corrective actions.appear to be comprehensive and effective.
No reply to this letter is necessary.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
