Inspection of "A" Steam Generator Manway Studs; Inspection Report 50-244/91-13, dated July 30, 1991 We have reviewed your letter dated October 23, 1991, in regard to the inspection of the steam generator manway studs prior to their installation.
On the basis of a materials engineering inspection report, dated 4/18/91, furnished by Mr. Paul J. Gorski, RG&E Mechanical Maintenance Manager, we have confirmed your statement that the studs were subject to VT, MT and UT as required by your ISI/MISIP program.
Additionally, Mr. G. Wrobel, RG&E Licensing Engineer, indicated to Mr. H. Kaplan (NRC) during a telephone call that, in the future, a licensing engineer willattend each exit meeting to assure that the appropriate disciplines are represented to provide accurate information regarding test data.
