Inspection 50-219/82-10 This refers to the routine safeguards inspection conducted by Mr. G. C. Smith of this office on April 12-15, 1932 at the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Forked River, New Jersey authorized by NRC License No. DPR-16 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Smith with you at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these U eas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
In accordance with 10 CFR 73.21 of th NRC's regulations, documentation of security measures for the physical protection of special nuclear materials and certain plant equipment vital to the safety of production or utflization facilities is deemed to be Safeguards Information.
Each person who produces, receives or acquires Safeguards Information is required to ensure that it is protected against unauthorized disclosure.
Therefore, except for the report cover sheet, the enclosed inspection report will not be placed in the Public Document Room and will receive limited distribution pursuant to 10 CFR 73.21(c).
No reply to this letter is required.
