Subject: Inspection 50-219/82-06 This refers to your letter dated July 9,1982, in response to our letter dated May 20,1982.
Thank you for infoming us of the corrective and preventive actions doctanented in your letter. With regard to your coment for Violation
"A", we agree that Regulatory Guide 1.16 should not have been quoted as a requirement. In this case it was intended to add clarification for the identified incomplete under-standing of Technical Specification 6.9.2 reporting requirements.
With regard to Violation "B", we understand that planned revision of applicable procedures will provide adequate test methods and results evaluation to assure complete and accurate assessment of the leakage rate for the Main Steam line inboard isolation valves. This understanding is based on a telephone conver-sation between Mr. Fickeissen and Mr. Laggart of your staff and Mr. Rekito of this office on July 22, 1982. These actions and others documented in your letter will be examined during a future inspection of your licensed program.
